What is Elevate?
Elevate is a workout tracking app for iPhone with an Apple Watch companion. You build or import a training program, log your sets in seconds, and Elevate automatically detects personal records, tracks your heart rate for every set, and surfaces AI-powered insights about your progress — plateaus, muscle imbalances, training frequency, and more.
Is Elevate free?
Yes. The free tier includes core workout tracking, up to 3 programs, 30 days of history, automatic PR detection, exercise variants, rep-quality and set-timing logging, deterministic progress insights, body-weight and macro logging, and basic social features. Elevate Pro ($5.99/month or $34.99/year, with a 3-month free trial) unlocks unlimited programs, full workout history, program export/import, advanced heart-rate analytics, advanced progress charts, and AI 'Coach's Take' meta-analysis.
Does Elevate work with the Apple Watch?
Yes — Elevate ships a native watchOS companion app. You can log sets from your wrist, see live heart-rate zones during a workout, and everything syncs both ways with your iPhone in real time. Heart rate is captured per set so you can see how hard each working set actually was.
Does Elevate detect personal records automatically?
Yes. Elevate watches your logged sets and flags PRs as they happen — heaviest weight, best estimated 1RM, most reps at a weight, and more — with a celebration animation and shareable PR cards. No manual bookkeeping required.
Can I import my workout program from another app like Hevy or Strong?
Yes. Elevate Pro includes program import — you can bring in a routine from plain text or a structured export and Elevate will parse it into a trackable program. You can also export your Elevate programs to share or back them up.
How does the AI coaching work?
Two layers. First, deterministic detectors run every time you open the Progress tab — they flag plateaus, push/pull or left/right imbalances, drops in training frequency, streaks, and heart-rate fatigue. These are free for everyone. Second, an AI 'Coach's Take' runs a periodic meta-analysis of your last 90 days of training (not every session) and writes a short, plain-English summary of what's working and what to adjust. The AI layer is part of Elevate Pro.
Is my data private?
Yes. Elevate uses Sign in with Apple for authentication and stores your training data in your own account. Heart-rate data comes from Apple Health with your permission and is never sold or used for advertising — there are no third-party ads in the app. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@elevatefitlab.com.
What's the best workout tracking app for Apple Watch?
If you want set-by-set logging with automatic PR detection, per-set heart rate from the Watch, and AI analysis of your long-term progress, Elevate is built exactly for that. It's a focused strength-training tracker — closer in spirit to Hevy or Strong than to a running app like Strava — but with a native Apple Watch app and a coaching layer most lifting trackers don't have.
